RUBEX

Rubex NV was founded in 1959 by Andre Vansteenkiste, and started originally with the Construction of Moulds for technical Articals of Rubber.  Throughout the Years, the focus is more put on the Production of Rubber Soles.

Mixtures of Rubber are made with an open Mixing Machine.  Early Seventies, there was the Production of PU Soles and some later also of PCC & TR Soles.

Late Eighties, the second Generation took over the daily Running.  At that time, it was decided to focus only on the Production of Rubber Soles and also a new market of Safety Footware was found.

The real Breakthrough came early 2000 with the Development of Production of Soles without glue  (Duo density) .

Late 2004 it was decided to transfer the complete Production Department to Szech Republic.

Mid 2009, there is the new Site located in Dolni Pdoluzi with a surface of 16.000 m².   On this new Site, about 60 people work day and night for the Production, Finishing, Packaging, Control and Shipping of 1.000.000 couples of Rubber Soles and 1.500.000 couples of Heels and Patins for the Reparation of Shoes.  Purchase ans Sales are still located in the Belgian Headquarters.

Rubex NV exports today to 17 countries within Europe.
